Job Purpose The primary responsibility of the Bioinformatics Analyst II will be to contribute to our research project utilizing genomic approaches to identify new targets for immunotherapy. Job Responsibilties Will be responsible for conducting bioinformatic analyses and contributing to the bioinformatic and data sharing pipeline to be established across study sites. Contribute to the more broad research efforts of the pediatric cancer group by utilizing a combination of computational Biology or a related field required. Minimum Qualifications Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred: Master's degree in a related field. Experience: Required: One year of relevant experience. Experience with genomic data sets and cancer biology, a solid knowledge of sequence analysis and annotation approaches and concepts, the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and excellent communication skills. Preferred: Two years' experience in scientific programming with applications to biological research. Certification/Licenses/ Registration: None required.
