Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics in the Department of Pathology and the State Key Laboratory of Liver Research (Ref.: 509138) to commence as soon as possible for two to three years with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in computational biology bioinformatics biomedical sciences biological science or a related discipline. Research experience in animal work cell culture and/or molecular biology would be an advantage. Applicants should be familiar with UNIX environment computer programming and R language. They should be self-motivated organized and able to work independently as well as in a team.Preference will be given to those with strong expertise in cancer biology genome biology and next-generation sequencing analysis.The appointee will work with Dr. Chun-Ming Wong on projects related to cancer genome and epigenome of liver cancer.
