Overview
The Zhao laboratory in the Department of Cancer Biology Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking an outstanding postdoctoral candidate with expertise in bioinformatics. The Zhao lab investigates the signaling networks regulating cellular processes in cancer examining how these signals affect tumor immune and stromal cells. Their research aims to elucidate mechanisms of immune evasion therapy resistance and metastasis.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their expertise in bioinformatics to:
- drive cutting-edge research initiatives
- contribute to high-impact publications and
- collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams within the laboratory and broader research community.
Qualifications
The ideal applicant should possess:
- PhD or MD in bioinformatics or similar field
- established proficiency in bioinformatics biomedicine and related disciplines as demonstrated through high-impact publications
- strong data analysis capabilities with a mastery of multi-omics data analysis methodologies
- ability to process and analyze primary data sets
- comprehensive understanding of fundamental cancer biology processes.
- excellent collaborative and communication skills to foster effective teamwork.
