We are seeking a Senior Scientist to propel our computational biology, helping to build world-class platform capabilities in bioinformatics, supporting biological discovery and our drug development programs. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Drive identification of biomarkers and biological insights from large multi-omic oncology cell-line datasets Design and analyze next-generation sequencing experiments, including RNA-Seq and pooled CRISPR assays Analysis of protein-protein interaction data such as mass-spec Develop dashboards and interactive tools to enable data sharing across multi-disciplinary teams Help build and maintain a knowledgebase of beta-propellers and their associated biology Work with Head of Data Sciences to recruit and build a high performing data science team using internal and external resources Qualifications Qualifications PhD in computational biology, oncology, cell biology, or genetics Relevant Post-doc and 3-5 years of applied computational biology Fluent in R, Bioconductor and in one or more additional programming languages Familiarity working within Linux and cloud computing environments Proven ability to work within interdisciplinary teams to deliver testable biological insights from large-scale data Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to effectively present data within the company and to other stakeholders Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects About our founders William Sellers is a core institute member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, a faculty member at Harvard Medical School, and faculty member and senior advisor to the president for experimental therapeutics at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
