Posting Title Postdoctoral Research Associate Department HSC-Pharmaceutical Sciences-301400 Job Location Fort Worth Full Time/Part Time Full-Time Salary Information Salary Commensurate with Experience Department Summary The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the UNT System College of Pharmacy is located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth, ranked among the top 50 medical schools for seven consecutive years, the UNTHSC is a 33-acre graduate school located in the city’s Cultural District with a local economic impact of $500 million annually. The UNT System College of Pharmacy is the first pharmacy school in Texas located on an academic health science center campus. Position Overview A postdoctoral fellow position in computational biology/chemistry is available in the lab of Dr. Jin Liu in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. We are looking for a creative, independent and highly motivated individual to join our team. Minimum Qualifications Appropriate doctoral degree. If the degree had not been conferred at the time applicant applied for a postdoc position, a letter needs to be attached from the school’s official Graduate Office and/or Registrar’s Office certifying that all requirements for the degree have been met and stating the degree conferral date. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred Qualifications Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, biology, or related field. A strong background in computational biology/chemistry (e.g. molecular dynamics simulations) is essential. Experiences in machine learning algorithms are preferred.
