Imagine New Horizons ... The Dassault Systèmes BIOVIA R&D team is looking for a student intern to work with our Computational Biology Software Development Group. In this role, you will develop new biomarker functionality for oncology and drug development using data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence approaches. You will also help add new bioinformatics capability to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform via Pipeline Pilot. This is a 12-week long paid internship/co-op spanning the summer of 2020 and is based in the Dassault Systèmes BIOVIA office located at 5005 Wateridge Vista Drive, San Diego, CA 92121. Activities include, but are not limited to: Integrating, applying, and validating tools for biomarkers, including, in particular, methods leveraging data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence Working with the Quality Assurance team to ensure good automated test coverage of all newly developed functionality Participating with Product Management and customer-facing teams to contribute ideas for new features and product direction Creating and presenting a 30-minute summary of your internship achievements Challenges Ahead You will learn to work closely with fast-paced cross-functional teams in the dynamic field of computational biology.
